Title: truckmount maintenance

Hi all,

i have the promount 18 from woodbridge and apart from the obvious stuff like checking / changing engine oil am not really clued up on any other essential maintenance i should be carrying out on it, either daily / weekly or at other certain times.

The manual mentions briefly about checking pump and blower oil but does not show in any detail of how to do this!

And before any one says ask woodbridge, believe me i've tried. - I cannot fault the machine and they pulled out all the stops to get me the van i wanted, but i must say their after sales service puzzles me a little ???

any help in the right direction would be appreciated.

Steve I got a video with min from the States it tells you evrything to do from showing you how to install the truckmount in your van,maintainence and trouble shooting.It is all there for you to watch so you can see what you actually need to do as the guy shows you.
Im getting it converted to dvd at the moment, it will be ready it a few days so if you want a copy email me your address.

            I wouldn't mind a copy of that dvd too, I'll do you a swap if you like for a tile and grout cleaning  dvd I've recently converted to pal dvd.

Whilst we are talking about transfering films from video to CD's I have an old film from One -Step showing how to use their micro splitters on carpet and hard surfaces that needs transfering. Any help would be most welcomed.

            you can transfer from your video recorder to your dvd recorder, quite easy to do, well as long as you have a dvd recorder that is! ;D

Im in the same boat as carpet doctor, iv got the 25 and dont know how to do anything other than check the filters and oil.

So would really apreciate a copy of that dvd if you can stretch to it paul?

nothing needs doing to your truckmount untill about 500 hrs.

then take it into woodbridge for a service.

Keep the oil and filter changed, clean inline filters every month or so, read the manual and change engine fuel / air filters at rec intervals.

Guys
I have a problem.
My mate who was copying the video to dvd has a problem with his machnie and it wont copy.
I have had about 10 emails of people wanting this dvd.It is very good and by the sounds of things rare to get hold of.
So I need some help,has any body got a video to dvd machine that you can put the video in and make a copy dvd.
If so I will post the video out to you to copy.

hi paul,
           you should be able to plug the video player directly into the dvd recorder and it should work? I'll try mine tonight to make sure it works?

John I think you need one of the machines that has a slot in the front for a video and a slot in for a dvd
