Title: Enzymes for and against

What are your thoughts on Enzyme pre sprays like Enzall and Prekleen?

What materials is it good and bad for and is it true there are health risks with residue?

What else is as good a product but more 'Green'

Enzall works well and i have used it on wool with no problems before, however i am now a bit more cautious with it since i learned of the high ph.

I think the health risk side of it is that the residue can dry to a powder which isnt to great for asthma sufferers.

Ta Red, so do you think its better for pubs etc rather than domestic?

How do you know there are no problems?
The problems dont occur straight away, Enzall shouldn't be used on wool.

I was told it was fine to use on wool and there is no ph level on the bottle so i used it on everything for a couple weeks its only after chatting on here i found out it was on the high side so have stopped.

I say iv had no problems because i had no callbacks and i done my own and my mothers carpet with it and got referalls from a couple of customers i used it on.

So im sure you could get away with it if you needed to, but that said unless you really need to better to be cautious

Hi all

I only ues enzall  chemspec as a last resort on pub carpets and upholstery.

I got a very dirty polyprop carpet this morning and wished that i had a bit of enzall with me.

i had to do it twice with no 9 ms befor i started to get a desent result.
for very dirty polyprop carpet i would normaly use ultrapac reavate from
prochem, but i have run out of it. Was thinking of something diffrent this time around for this  task
What else would you guye recomend on these type carpets.

Champion by Craftex. It's the daddy on synthetic.
