hi folks just thought id let you know today i received my 15 yes 15 call this month from thomson local i think the b******s are stalking me  >:( >:( >:(

Just tell them that you only want Yellow pages because Thomson is rubbish and nobody uses it.

They will get the message.

Ive had 3 or 4 from Thompson just with the Single line entry, none from yellow pages, infact ive just put the phone down from a survey ove booked from Thompson.

Thomson works in Halifax as YP covers a huge area, including Halifax, Bradford and Skipton. Halifax don't like Bradfordians and vice versa. Thomson is more local and gets used more often.

Thomson is never used as a doorstop in Yorkshire because we don't have doors here yet.

The latest for me is yellow pages sending me text messages when i have already booked for this year and been phoned by many a sales man.

I had a right go with YP, i got a quote and told the rep that she would have to come down on price, said that they "arent allowed", "funny that" i said, "when i last used YP i got nearly 25% knocked off to persuade me to advertise", she said "we havent been able to reduce prices for last 4 years", hmmmmmmm i must have imagined it then i suppose.
