I'm sure Reps from water companies don't read this, so you can be honest.
At the moment I use about a cup full an hour ;D but ideally I would like to use about 2litres a minute.
So what flow rate, as in litres per minute do you think would generally work best?

measured mine a while ago Pj amaizing really 1.4 lpm and thats what the Vari2 is set at never touch it unless i come across a first clean thats really grubby

Chris,
Is it poss for you to take a pic at some stage of your vari2 setting?
I have mine set just under half but have never measured it :-[
-
Could you measure your flow rate Matt ?
-

Jeff, the lengths I go to! It's howling a gale here and raining :'(
Anyway it came out at 1.3L per min :-[?

Appologies Matt, thanks, Have you tried less or more or do you find that about right ?
-
Do you mean 11 o clock?
-
PJ I have got used to using about 1/2 litre/min - less in the summer. Phobic spoty windows use the most.

Personally I find it's the right amount for me. I like to rinse a lot and be sure. I have tried with less but found I was chasing bits of dirt down the glass and it took ages.
I have also had it on full power before just to see what it was like. FAR too much!!
What about you? you still on 0.5l a min?
-
Do you mean 11 o clock?
well yes sort of 12 is at the top next one back is 11 but follow on and 9 is in the wrong place so its not exactly a clock face
if that makes any sence

Yes. Thanks Chris. I have mine set at about 11
Tomorrow I'm gonna measure what that is putting out in litres per minute.
I am still interested to know what the pros like to use. But they're afraid of who is reading :o

I use 100m of microbore and a 100psi flojet, the flow rate is about 1.5-1.7 litres per minute. Which I find is spot on for my use.

mine works out at 1.5 litres a minute hope that helps
-
just measured my average flow rate.....2.5 litres per min! :o :o
No complaints from customers though
-
Fascinating 8)
The average is 1.5L/min.
Also depends on the width of the brush ? I use 11" but if you use 15" you would need more water ?
-
My is 2.5 x two poles used, so we go thought 5lts a min :( which is not good as some days we finish early & we have a 1000lts :-\
