wow 119 what is it going in.......because it should be no way near that....mine going in is 398 through merlin 019 it could be you need to boost your pressure
-
tds is 350 b 4 it goes in
-
Mine is about 350 going in and comes out anywhere between 10 and 19, is yours new or second hand?
-
It's all down to your input pressure.
The merlin is not designed to work with pressure that low.

Bazooka, just a thought did yours come pre-assembled or did you have to do it yourself? I only ask because I discovered after teething problems with mine that the rubber 'o' rings you fit in the membrane housings were not a good fit / got damaged thus I had a high tds, I replaced them from a local plumbing shop and some more silicone lubricant, no worries since. just a thought. They say it can work on pressure as low as 35, 30 maybe pushing it, so maybe the problem is as alex says.
good luck

we run our own merlin on inlet pressure around 40/45 psi (it varies throughout the day), inlet tds between 300 and 350, outlet tds is 4 or 5ppm. I reckon someone has set th merlin up right, most likely the rubber o-rings as cyberseye says
