is anybody finding that with all the storms the windows are really greasy, becouse when i have been cleaning with the pole recently it seems as if the pole is just spreading the muck around the glass & wheh the sun shines on the windows it looks like there are loads of bristle marks on the glass, ive resorted to putting a bit a screen wash on the brush first then washing with that, then rinsing loads, has any body any better ideas for dealing with windows that are really greasy, cheers mike.

Today noticed the window where hard to clean, I put it down to the storms, hopefully we get some rain, and that sorts them out. :)

Maybe they need a going over with a (wait for it ) squeegee

Mike, how far are you from the sea? The salt would have travelled miles with yesterdays storm. Dai

Did the bottom ones turn out ok?

You just need to take longer per window is all (sea salt notwithstanding that is) scrub up and down and side to side.
One of the problems with WFP is that you get so used to doing a window very quickly that when you do have to spend an extra 20 seconds on it, it feels like an eternity :-\ But at the end of the job it has only put a couple of extra minutes on the time taken.
Another thing you could do is to turn up your flowrate...you'll still have to take extra time on the windows though, but using extra water will also ensure you have thoroughly flushed and rinsed the glass.
If you are seeing lines left on the glass from the bristles you ain't spending long enough on each window!

10 miles from sea, & i spend about 2 mins on each window atleast sometimes 3-4, i havent found that wfp is any quicker especially on downs in fact its slower than me with a squegee on downs after 15yrs i shud be, but at the end of the day if it takes me 2 week per window i still wont die falling off,so i will persivere

I have found a little dip in a bucket of gg3 and scrub up the windows help. Takes alittle longer and I'm using more water to rinse but the results are tops.
