Title: I had to use my ladders
Post by: jeff1 on January 18, 2007, 07:52:08 pm
This ain't on guy's, I had to use my ladders yesterday :'(  :'(   and it was inside a bungalow.

I have a few high bungalows built into hillsides and this makes them very high, so high that when I did them trad, I had to use my ladders just as if they were houses. Inside though they are still very high, and I always have to use my ladders inside as well, to do all the partitions that are topped by windows.
As it had been raining yesterday I had to take my wet ladders inside, and this caused me a little concern, so I scrimmed of what wet I could, then I had a brain storm? I used two sets of unger gloves, one pair on the top and the other on the bottom.
The ladders looked like something from out of space, with hands on both ends  ;D but it saved any damage to carpets or walls.

What do you guy's use in situations like this?

I used to carry a dust sheet until I changed to wfp, but only put my ladders back on for this paticular Job, forgot the sheet, so I used the gloves.
