Hi Paul

i will email you nearer the time, yes we will get a better idea of the poles seeing them all face to face at the moment im looking at brodex facelift and the power pole i was very impressed with omnipoles pole and sales staff last year at windex.  I seem to remember you bought a few bits last year
Im going the first 2 days of the show

Hows your son going on is he still working with you?

Brett

Hi Brett

He only works with me part time now.
Until he passes his driving test.

Im looking at employing someone else aswell now but this time it won't be family and must be able to drive.
Im thinking of getting someone on the new deal scheme and see how things go.

Anyway im looking at getting maybe a faclift pole also and one of those predator poles but it will be good to have a feel of them at the the show.

Yes i did get some bits i can't remember what i bought but i think it was just a few bits some signs and some microbore i think.

Im also going to look at some carpet cleaning stuff.
Handy for the winter months when the weather has been like it has lately

Haven't decided yet but I would be happy to work it in with whatever you're doing.
What's your wife got to do with it?  I only offered to share my van with you, not a hotel room   ;D
Seriously though, I appreciate what you're saying.  If I was going there with my partner, I would want a bit of privacy on the journey too .
Going out in a minute so won't be seeing any more posts till tomorrow.

Hi Brett

You're just not moving in the right circles, old chum.  ;)

Being mid-week, I can't really see me going to the cleaning show - I'm indispensible y'know !!

I'll be at the Fed show on Saturday, 28th April, though - and maybe the Friday too. I think it's open to everybody, not just members. We've booked ourselves in with relatives who stay close. Me? Tight? Don't know what you mean!

I'll maybe see you there.

The show is the biggest in the cleaning industry, but there are not many w/cing stands-mainly the larger firms so dont expect to see all the our suppliers there. They cannot afford the stand rents. It can be disappointing. But I aint missed one yet, I am going just in case I do miss something.
Its a pity that the forums cannot organise a stand so that we could meet each other, I have tried in the past to arrange meetings but failed. There are so many people, that saying "see you at the bar at 12 doesnt work,( to start with there are at least 2 )unless you know what everyone looks like, or wear silly hats. You have more chance at the w/cing stands.
At least at the fed show we are all from the same clan - oh and windex.

If you havent been to a show, take the day or two off, put it against tax and enjoy. It finishes at 5 prompt, the reps depart like rabbits.
Do your homework and start writing down what you want to know(take a camera) and dont come home till you have written the answers down. or it all goes over your head.

The cleaning show's 13-15 March - the Fed show's AFTER that, at the end of April. Get yer backside along there, catching up from January indeed!

Meeting up's a pig altogether, we came up with the idea of highlighting your name on the badges at windex last year. There was only me and John Walker did it, and we both missed each other!!

How about a timetable, something like
Company A @ 11.30
The bar       @ 12
Company B @  1pm
The bar @        1.30pm
Company  C @    2pm
So we all know where to be if we miss one time slot.
etc etc  oh and dont forget the bar  :)

Company C @ 5pm They have closed so its back to the bar !

I don't know what you mean! I remember having sense enough to go to bed early - well, earlier than you and that crowd of reprobates you were hanging about with. Ooops, sorry reprobates. But funny you should mention that, this post is supported by a very nice rioja  - Condado de Ovante  Reserva 1998. Don't you just love the 50% off offers from Tesco Online http://tinyurl.com/yskbkw
