Hi All,
I currently only use an 18ft pole which fits nicely inside my little Vauxhall Combo van.
I now need to get a longer pole (probably a 24ft one), which I don't think will quite fit inside my van.
What do you guys recommend in order to carry poles securely on the top of a van?

something like this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tube-Pipe-Carrier_W0QQitemZ320070741671QQihZ011QQcategoryZ108856QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
cut a slit at the end with the cap big enough for goose neck and brush head to stick out (about a foot) and then you can lock the cap on

one thing that has always baffled me ??? is where does all the hose go?
-
Inside the pole carrier I presume.

must be a bit of a pain coiling up 20ft of hose and squeezing it in the end of the pole???
Does anyone have a picture of a pole stored on the roof in a pole carrier?
-
Yeah it can be, I have to say it is handy to store the poles on the roof but it is a pain getting the hose in.

Hi Andy,
I have a 24ft brodex predator pole that fits in to my combo van if that helps.
Cheers Jason

my 24ft facelift fits in my kangoo easily (through the bulkhead though).

I'm planning to get a pole carrier, just a thought but rather than trying to get all the hose in the tube, why not coil it around the brush head or neck and secure it with a bungy, or shut the hose inside your vans back door, I reckon it would be easier and less time consuming.
