Title: Which is finer filter - 5 or 10 micron?

Does 5 micron filter do a better job than a 10 micron does anyone no?

in microns the lower the number the finer it is.

hi,

There are 1000 microns in a milimetre, so the 5 micron filter is the finer of the two. In terms of filtering particles, the 5 micron will stop more than a 10 but you will find it may clog quicker depending on its use.
