Post by: david68 on January 15, 2007, 06:38:11 pm
Hi all

I have only been cleaning for 9 months

I start with you guys helping me with the trad way methods.

From then i brought a Freedom Trolley which was safer but alot of the time a bit messy getting it in and out of my astra van.

Now i have just brought this from eaby

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=001&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=110076408867&rd=1&rd=1

Well all i can say give me another 9 months and i will be wanting 3 more.

Again thanks you guys for helping.

If it was not for this site i would have gave this window cleaning up.

Dave.........and welcome back Gazza

Hope that IBC is secured and baffled properly , otherwise could be a major safety issue.

are you keeping your trolley?

(I was tempted to say "are you off your trolley" but I thought you might take it funny)

Plenty of payload there to cope with that tank.  Glad to here it's been baffled properly.  Sounds like you got a fair deal there so long as next month's MOT doesn't spring any major surprises.

I have a 650 litre flat tank in mine, in a steel frame bolted through the chassis. I have the 2.0 hdi with a 925 kg payload.

650 kg water
100 kg me
+ 1 pole 24ft pole and hosereel 50 kg absolute max

keeps me within the limits.

however a 1.9 version with an 815 kg payload - in my humble opinion would be a no no.

Hi

It will be a 650lt tank but maybe only fill to 450lt.

Looking for a back pack now if anyone is selling one.

Maybe the link below could be my next van..... ;)
