Saw this on ebay!

I'm sure if you knew what to call it, a quick search on google and you would find it for a couple of quid! £30 is a bit expensive!
Also it wouldn't work with poles that take the hose inside? Only for external hose?
-
Its made by pure freedom (Andrew MaCann) and if thats the price shown, then I expect thats the price you pay.
It does look good and fits any pole, but as you say only with external tubing.
-
Looks like it does work for internal hose, the hose gets connected to the one end and then what I would do is run another small bit of external hose from the other end which then connects to your microbore.
Good idea but pricy.

This is what i use,a simple on/off ball valve tap on the end of my microbore hose then keep it at my hip using a cord and a clip on my trouser belt loop,

It still doesn't get over the problem of working at different heights.
What we really need Is a clamp type device that the hose is free to run through.
This would always be in the same position on the pole.
I am still using a simple ring tied to the pole. When I want to stop the flow, I fold the hose and slip the ring over it. Simple technology, but does the job. Dai

Mine is on my hip on a loop hose going through the pole that way you allways can controll the water from whatever height
-
Here is mine with the tennis ball fitted to stop it getting stuck and it works.

Here's mine. A standard Gas flow valve £8.00 from a Plumbers supply.

Sorry if this upsets a few people but that first fitting is what looks to be the same fitting as i use in a plastic box !
The fitting only costs £3.65 , so £26.35 for a bit of plastic and an iffy nylon stap is a wee bit shall we say steep for me ! :o

doesn't upset me - there's no way Andrew can justify the price tag - although he can ask whatever he wants, just like some other suppliers.
-
Fair shout JM123 , thing is though , how many people on here have been sucked in and paid for it !

I don't know but there are far to many items I see on suppliers websites being sold at £10 when in the real world hardware stores sell the same item at £2 etc, I'm not going to mention names but they know who they are - I'm a supplier myself, I know we have to make a margin on items, more of a margin than what most people think we need - but there are some who 'pull the wool'.

Perhaps trolley sales are not what they used to be !

Has anyone bought one yet?
as we phoned up today to see what they were like and how they worked and if they were any different to any others, if theres something better anout them i dont mind paying the extra, but they had SOLD OUT til next week. Im sure he said they make them theirselves in that case they must be strong as if the freedom trolley, made very well the uk's number 1 selling trolley. Its good to see Andrew Mc Cann is coming up with new ideas for our industry
