Title: HELP
Post by: Neil Grainger on January 13, 2007, 06:06:17 pm
Hi all

Lady called today saying my daughter has droped a paint pot with paint that you use on to decorate China Mugs.

Carpet is 100% wool so am thinking it is ruined but she still wants me to come tomorrow.

Any idea's with what you would use.

Cheers

Neil

if it's water based I would try some prochem dri pro followed by an acid rinse, if it's oil based try prochem solvex or solvall spotter followed by the acid rinse.

                                                   all the best

Nei,
not sure what the paint is, but just before xmas I had a call ,custy knocked full tin of paint over whilst decorating.
I advised to leave ,apart from carfully scaping any he could up , woth out spreading the problem.
then advised to keep moist, and would go straight round next morning.

Believe it or not my first aproach was a simple cold water extraction with hand tool , and out it came. a very relieved custy, and job to do more work booked in.

so worth a try
