Title: Modifying Tucker Poles
Post by: U.S. wfp USER on January 13, 2007, 03:49:53 pm
In the US we have taken to modifying the tucker poles so that the tightening tool is not neccesary.

Hopefully the pic shows up.

There have been no modifications to the Tucker pole here in the US that I have seen.

That is why we have modified them outselves.  The brushes are great, but you cant put them on any other pole currently.

The black is electrical tape.

So that the clamps don't slide back and forth.  The clamps are not riveted to the pole so they will slide up and down if there is no tension applied to it.

Here is a link to the clamps.  Its a couple of dollars to modify the poles.

I personally dont use a Tucker pole any longer, but when I did these are the clamps I used.

Looks like they may have taken from the guys who designed their own here.

Its about time.  Great pole for short work just a pain to use those original clamps.

I wonder when they will introduce them here in the US?

How much does a set of these cost?

I would love to get a few sets for friends here who still use tuckers.
