The wagtail combo has been redesigned and I would love to try one.
I have a couple of the older models and they are great. If this new one is an impriovement on that, I want some.
Problem is, I can't find a UK supplier. Even the the 100%WFP guys have to do the insides sometimes, and here the Wagtail comes into it's own.
So which one of our major suppliers is going to get in first. Come on guys, What about you Mike. at express cleaning? Every shiner that's had a go with my Wagtail, wants one. The Market is there. It's the best trad tool ever invented. Dai

what on earth is a wagtail

Sort of a combination of a SqueegeeMate and a ProCurve - but it's not! It soaps and blades at the same time, you move your grip on the handle, either by hand or at the foot of en extension pole, left or right - and the blade turns so you can fan or "S" with a pole.
Dai - I'm sure OmniPole used to stock them, but they don't show a GB supplier on the Oz site at present. If you find one please post back here, I'd be interested in trying it out too.

Pat, just looking on the windows 101 site, could you recommend any of the suction cups, I'm looking at the double, have you used one?
Chris
-
Chris, the double is t106?
If so thats the one we use all the time,it works well as long as you take care of it , If itb sits somewhere for a while in an out of shape position they tend to hold that position and dont work so good
But they will keep you in the position you want to be in with almost your full body weight pulling against it and the replacement cups are pretty cheap so all in all i would recommend it
We ususlly attach them to the chair to keep both hands free fotr working but they are best used by holding with your hand
Also they attach and release real easy
Hope that helps :)

Pat, Thanks for that, I've just ordered a couple of the double suckers and also a 16 inch wagtail. I've also ordered one of them little 2 finger suction cups, they don't look as though they will hold you in one place for long but they might come in handy. The shipping cost has not been added yet so don't know how much the total bill will be, but if the shipping costs are reasonable it looks pretty cheap, also I have never seen the same sort of suction cups on sale in the UK, I think I could make a few quid selling these on :).

The little ones suck(pun intended)
There is also a single sucker one that has an extension handle that is useful for sticking to glass that you cannot reach in to will try to find someone who still sells it and post a link

Have you not tried the Ettore backflip , one of the 4 positions you can use it like a wagtail
-
Not tried the backflip John, just ordered one and then cut my credit card up :D

I have two of them, but they weigh twice as much as a Wagtail. The wagtail is in my oppinion a far superior tool. The swivel action of the Wagtail makes it really easy on the wrist too. You can actually use one on a pole in exactly the same way as by hand, Zig zagging down the pane. Dai

Link to the Aussie site if needed. Says they ship internationally.

I think I seen a video promo for them. They look good. The swivel motion looks like it would take some practice. If you find a UK supplier then do tell us.
