Hi guys i'm trying to find a way of getting pure water into my tank without using my RO and storage tank which i now use in the garage. (we're moving and wont have a garage) can i use one of these GE Merlin Reverse Osmosis Is this all i need? Do i need anything else?
any help on this would be greatly appriciated.

Do you intend to fit the merlin in your van? and how big is your onboard tank? I have a merlin filling a static 200 ltr tank and fills it in a couple of hours. They produce quickly but depending on your tds you may get a higher tds product than you did from your previous ro, so a di cannister after your pump would be nescessary if you hav'nt already and I added an additional 10 " pre sediment filter to prolong the filter and membranes in the merlin but these are'nt very expensive.
Hpe I've been some help

thanks simon you have been a great help. I've got a 650 ltr tank in my van but i only ever fill it to about 550-600 ltrs tops. i do intend to fit everything into the van so i can just pull up to the hosepipe and leave it running/filling. WE're in a hard water area. anything you can add to this?

the only other things I can think of to consider is, waste water and where that goes: maybe have a hose going out through the van floor to a nearby drain perhaps. and you will probably have a fill time of 4-5 hours so you may want some kind of cut off switch/float valve unless you keep checking it.

i've been looking at prices and i can get a

Gardiners have the merlin on special at £220 +vat + free delivery at the moment
the only difference in the pics is the sizes, I've the 11 ltr one like in the first pic and I run that with a merlin, I produce 250 ltr a day on mains water of 350-400 tds, product is 030 ppm before di, tds has only crept up to 002 now after 6 month daily use. The bigger the di vessel the less frequently you will have to change the resin. I bought a re conditioned vessel empty from cleantech, only about £50 I think.
