i need some help on removing some baby oil from a white woolen carpet
i flushed it out this morning with some hot water, it appeared to have gone but now the lady says its come up again only much darker than it was before
this is tescos baby oil with lavender, she's not for one minute complaining but shes a regular so i would like to solve her problem
any advice would be welcome
thanks

The Wool will have absorbed quite a lot of the oil which will keep wicking back to the surface of the fibres. Wiping with a terry towel and solvent is best bet, however it can take a few attempts.

Hi Colin,
I would definitely go with a solvent as John says, but would spray on and leave for 15 mins before agitating and extracting.
You will find white spirit will work or isopropanol .
Cheers

Collin,
Had this prob before. If the oil has gone into the backing, it may keep whicking back no matter what you do.
I always tell custy that it may come back and that it's their prob if it does.
