Title: Groundfloor Trad or Pole?
Post by: Templar on January 09, 2007, 10:52:15 pm: I am going WFP. My instinct is to still do the ground floor trad, and I know that is what many others do. But to enjoy the real speed benefits of a WFP system shouldn't I just go the whole hog?

It either works or it doesn't right? If really believed in it I would just do it. Aside from customer prejudice (I don't like wet windows) are there any real issues that I am missing?

But mostly WFP the lot.

i get different reactions from customers but most are fine once you explain why you are using wfp
the choice is yours

Also people have said do all tops then trad the bottoms because of drips

but surley drips still come into play if you wfp the bottoms

am i missing something?

I take on board the comments and the readons they were made. I can see instances where it would be better trad, but if I can WFP I will.

The argument that the reason for doing it is H&E and this doesn't apply to bottoms doesn't make sence if this really is a superior method.

Post by: jeff1 on January 10, 2007, 08:06:05 pm: After 9 years Trad, invested in wfp, so I do the lot tops and bottoms, I do all the tops first, then start at the bottom on the first window I did up top, not had any problems with drips.
