wondered if anyone has got the new Omnitrolly Mk3 if so how do you rate it ??
cheers Darren
-
Hi Darren, what are the changes to the mk3?
Gaz
-
this is a pic of it bit differant to other omni trollies ,really wondered about the casters on the back !!
-
Looks a bit bulky and heavy,i wouldn`t pay that sort of money for just a trolley,
Gaz
-
thought £495 +vat was ok ... people seem to like the other omni-trollies ,was after one and
quite liked the look of it myself.... except the casters !
-
Alot cheaper to build a trolley yourself, you can get 50L tanks or go for a slightly bigger one,

I may end up getting one myself - though I would prefer it if a small DI vessel could be added without increasing the footprint.
-
Gaz...go on.... tell me how i would go about doing that ?, not particularly mechanically minded !!
Thought about that to shiner ,recon you could attach small di vessel to it yourself ... as they do on other omnitrollies

Darren, are you looking for a particular size tank 50,60,70 or even 100L,
Any of these can be fitted to a trolley, then pump and battery,

If it can be done, the guys at Omnipole would do it for you. Supply and fit used to be £50 (+ VAT I think) and the vessel starts full of resin. It's just a safety measure to ensure that the water going from the trolley to the glass is 000 TDS (or near enough). I often fill direct from the van mount and bypass the resin in the van (to get a faster fill). This means that the TDS of water into the trolley is the same as it comes out of the RO. Often this will be fine but if I've been a bit lazy changing resin next to the static RO, at least I've got my final peace of mind with resin on the trolley.

CHEERS i will ask them to fit one if i get one ....unless i make me own !
50L would be ideal ...could you give more detail on building my own.. though wouldn't it still cost quite a bit
by the time you have bought all the bits and the time doing it... .not that im lazy.. and it might give me something to do while its raining ;D
-
Hi Darren,it will cost a lot less and you can build it to your own design i have built a few different trolleys,it is quite enjoyable, you don`t have to shell all your money out in one go take your time, have the pump, battery, hose in the places that suit you and even add a di filter if you want ;D,
