Has anyone got any tips on reducing customers, I need to cut down as I've taken on too much, but don't want to gain a bad reputation as "the bloke that lets people down"!
Ideally I'd like to lose the tricky ones, but they're often neighbours/friends of houses i DO want to keep...
-
why dont you ask some other new starter to have them of you ? makes his day.
-
The ones you want to lose put the price up a fair bit that should get rid of some
-
ok cleaning- thats a good idea, if anyones starting in wiltshire they're welcome to them
and paul- good idea too, I shall try it if nobody else wants them, thanks guys

Rhys11 is in Wiltshire and he posted less than a month ago that he is thinking of taking on more customers...

It would be bad luck if someone beats him to it, he only went offline 33 mins before you made that post.

I know it may be a little time consuming but i give each customer telling them diesel, etc has all gone up and it has to be added to their bill.Youll be suprised how many will say thats ok but if you really dont want them just let them know that way if you see them in a shop or the street you dont have to hide behind cars and shelves
-
can you get them to move into my area. ;D ;D
-
If you don't actually want to get rid of them but want to give yourself a bit of space put them on 6 weeks of 8 weeks and put your prices up a bit. explain that its better deal for them.
-
could someone tell me how I can leave a message for Rhys [the guy that did the post linked to above] I'm a bit thick on computery stuff...
-
his email or msn is
was here, i took it off now
post on this thread as soon as you have copied it down as I am going to edit it off.

Mr G I'm in Wiltshire and could be interested depending on where in Wilts we are talking about.
Cheers Dave

I dumped an irritating customer today as he was messing me around . He had his three chances and today was the day to dump him, it felt good to politely tell him to find some other mug to clean his windows. And to top it all I gave a quote for a new customer today and ended up with 10 in the same street all at a good price! My lucky day today despite the weather!

Mmm, Mr G I'm in that area are they that bad? I should be on the road wfp in a couple of weeks hungry for work.
