I've got one of those Unger poles like the one Ian Giles uses (green twisty locking devices) and it's done well over my first two years of wfp but it's a bit whippy at second floor height and over conservatories.
Most of my work is ground and first floor and a little bit second floor. (Which I may take a bit more of but don't see myself going any higher.)
I'm thinking of replacing my pole but I work like this:
Hose up the outside of the pole so I can unclip the brush and put it on my short pole for downstairs. (which is a cut down top section of the unger, about 2ft long and carried in my belt)
Is there a lighter hard wearing pole that is more rigid and that will let me unclip the top section to use as a downstairs pole?
Help please and thanks in anticipation.

I was wondering if there is a supplier who supplies poles with detachable, click on - click off brush heads similar to powerpoles?

So what adaptor would I use/make to connect my brush assembly (which ends in an unger sprung clip fitting) to the new pole?
