Who uses what and thoughts on them please, am going to get one but only really seen the Rotovac working and thought it was great but have seen good reports on the extracta range, so which is best in your exp

And how do the brush types compare to Rotovac etc
-
Might save my money, nobody seems to have one :(

Dave,
I have had the extracta scrubba for about 3 years and it does an excellent job and cannot be faulted in its effectiveness and you actually use a lot less water.
the only downside i would say is it is extrememly heavy to get out and use on every job, so i have avoided using it of late.
I now prefer to aggitate with the sebo duo which is very light and extract with a normal wand.
Saying that if i get a particularly dirty carpet the scrubba does come out of the van

Steve,
Which one in the extracta range do you have?

I have an extracta scrubba deluxe, super 20, and a rotovac. they all have good and bad points, I only use them on the real dirty carpts now as they are a bit cumbersome and take up too much room on the vans!
all the best

Dave,
It was the scrubba deluxe, which is the mid sized one i think, any bigger than that and i think it would be way too heavy to lift :o

I had Scrubba mini when i had a portable and miss it. I used to use it on 90% off all jobs. I used a Delux a few times and struggled with as it was to heavy and no good on most domestic jobs. The scrubba give an excellent finish to the job and improves cleaning.

hi ive got an prochem powermate model number 1204acp only used 3 times if anyone wants to make me an offer

I have a mini scrubba and I find it excelent on all but the most filthy trashed greasy carpets. I use it on most jobs, although as has been said already it is a little heavy on water.
-
A good thread regarding the Mini Scrubba, which I may well go ahead and buy. However is it likely to deposit more or less water compared to a 12" wand, since it appears it could go either way ??

I had one but it spent more time in my garage so got rid of it.
Save your money mate use the wand.
-
we had one many moons ago and most times you go back to the wand :-\

you lot are wimps ;D im only 8 stone and 5ft i still use my extracta scrubba deluxe how ever i still need a member of staff to lift it in to the house for me :D going to try the mini scrubba soon as i think its more girly and would suit me better
i find useing a ward hurts my back so but even take them out the unit , there nasty things

How much water you use depends on the number of jets, and the size of the jets, my wand has 3 x 0.1 jets but some people prefer to use bigger jets. Th scrubba has three jts also, but I don't know the size. I will not go back to using a wand except where space is very limited, or the job calls for it.
