How good is the Silencer.

Do you need the Silencer and the Exhaust extension

What about the Autodump that looks like a tub a vac

I have a silencer for the Ninja which I use fairly frequently, especially on longer jobs such as suite cleans.

It's not brilliant but makes a significant difference in confined areas where the noise always seems louder.

It would probably be more effective actually to attach a long hose to the exhaust & trail it outside,
but I find it quicker & more convenient to use the silencer.

All you need is a short length of 1.5" vac hose. It makes quite a big difference, and the end of the cuff just about fits through most letter boxes!

The silencer is great esp in the likes of nursing homes.  Yes a length of hose would do but more hassle to carry, set-up, trip over and dosent look as good.

I would bother with auto dump on a portable.  Waste of time.

auto dump is good bit kit, done a 19 room house last week ,only went out to van couple times for a fAg break and put scoop chems in, if u not using a porty truckmounted then i would say waste time unless u leave it outside every time

Isnt the best place for an auto dump on a portable? At least it gets rid of one of its limitations. Along with an auto fill or why else would you have an auto dump? Best, Dave.
