Title: Chemspec Haitian Cotton Cleaner?
Post by: Chris R on June 30, 2004, 11:17:49 pm
Hello again,
I have used this product a few times and it does seem to brighten cotton suites without fading the colours, but I am wary of it because it smells very strongly of bleach. anyone used it and what do you think? Does it need to be used with great care?
Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris

Yes I used this product a few years ago and ended up at the Doc's, I could not breath it affected my airways, I normally have no problems of this sort.

So as Chris says " Use with caution"

Hi

This product is a reducing bleach...

I don't use the powder but I have found some excellent uses for the Haitian Cotton Shampoo version

Cheers
Derek

Masterclean make a  similar product, the first time I opened the lid it nearly took my breath away, I now wear a mask at the mixing stage!

i use this product regulary and find it to be an excellent product which is good to use on any fabric that you are not sure of and of course cotton, but yes do not smell it when it is dry.
