Hi,
Happy New Year to everyone.

Im looking into buying a new wfpole can anyone give me any advice or recomendations as to what to buy?

My work is mainly domestic with some 3 storey buildings

24 ft fibre-glass pole should be sufficient, 30 ft more than adequate.
£200 or less for cheaper end of market
£400 - £500 for the newer extra-light poles

Buy a 18ft facelift pole for your domestic work and for your 3 storey work you can buy add on sections for the facelift pole which could take you up to 36ft which should do the 3 storey wrk.

Also a great addition is the excell glass fibre 3x3ft pole. Excellent for ground floor work and when fully extended can reach 9ft plus the height of you.

Rough prices for the poles without looking on the net are as follows.

1. facelift 18ft pole = £199-£260
2. Add on sections = £50-£80
3. 3x3ft excell = £50-£80

I would go same as above but a 3x4 excel. Because you can use that on small houses aswell as just groung floor stuff. The 3x3 is probably only any good for ground floor.

24" facelift.

12" excel.

If i was starting again thats what I would get.

25ft Brodex Eco-lite or 25ft Brodex Predator - Eco-lite gets my number 1 vote - best glass fibre pole available below £200

i have the 24 ft face lift an after useing it for about 5 months on manly domestic i find ther brushes not to great not enough brisels an they fall out at the corners so i will prob try an change it for a soft vikin i have a 56 face lift an find that brill for comercial but for domestic mabey brush is just to big/stiff especiallyfor them sash an case windows does any one else find this?

Never found the bristles to fall out on my facelift and i've been using it on domestic for 6 month now. You should phone up the supplier you purchased it from and i'm sure they will replace it as it sounds faulty to me!

facelift, but carbon, it is worth the extra pennys. buy at 24ft, its so lite you can do the bottoms with it at 90 degrees no probs, plus you can still buy extra sections to add on later if you require more height. ;)

Does anyone know the weight and price of the lightest 24ft face lift pole and what they are like to use re: how long the clamps last and handling

I just posted a similar question, my work is like that.

What suppliers are there for water fed poles? I've seen a few at Windex last year, but are there others, perhaps a bit cheaper?

hi all
have just ordered a preditor pole from brodex. 4 section working to 24' (plus my height) list 166. plus vat and delivery takes it to £202. wanted it as a spare as i can be a bit heavy handed and im frightened i will break my current one.
with a bit of haggleing and loads of their goodwill i got it for £135. delivered.
thanks to pat at brodex and it shows there are deals to be had!
