Paul,
How many times have you changed into carpet slippers before entering a car on a rainy day? ;D
No Paul, they don't shrink but many can distort with excessive heat.
Don't skimp the pre-vac and pad-dry with a terry towel ecpecially in those akward curves where it is hard to get vacuum extraction.

Shrinkage is the least of your problems.
Nightmare to clean, the soil just never ends and they are awkward to clean with handtools.

What type of car? Run of the mill or a best spoke?
As John, Derek and Phil, a night mare to clean, so charge. That goes for upholstery, not that they will pay it
I was reading Sundays financial a gent had a top range car done 700 miles service £25k then sold it

Only ever cleaned a car interior once. That was enough. Absolute nightmare. So awkward. So many awkward corners, nooks and crannies.

I've done my wife's car and trying to get to all the corners is really fiddly.
You spend a lot of time and don't have anything much to show for it at the end. How much can you charge?
