As stated, you certainly should be able to get them in a garden centre/B & Q etc as I've seen them in such places.  You may have to settle for the round ones though rather than the ones that can have a spanner used on them.

B/Q kind of sell them, but not on their own. Take a spanner and check the fittings that are in there hose guns.

Undo the fitting just to be sure its the same size, I had to buy the hose gun just to get the fitting.

Check with the spanner because some fittings are fixed solidly and some do unscrew.

Bit more expensive but at least you can work.

Horray!

popped into a new homebase superstore thats just opened near me and they had a bucket load of them, £2.09 each which is a little steep but to be out working for 4.18 is just grand  ;D

thanks for the info especially gaz who was gonna really put himself out for me and send me two of his own

its good to have this little community where we can help each other out, if i can re-pay any favours i will most certinatly.

thanks again ;D ;D ;D

Were they the round ones or the hexagonal ones?

not round not hexagonal, kind of half round with 2 straight edges so you can use a spanner to tighten if that makes sense

Yeah, that makes sense.  I've not seen those ones.
