Title: Flat Surface Cleaning Training
Post by: philgoff on December 28, 2006, 01:44:10 am
Hi all, Does anyone know if a training course is available to learn the proper way to get into Flat Surface Cleaning?
Is there anything similar to the Prochem Carpet Cleaning course around? I would love to find out more, possibly even get to try different cleaning equipment/methods.

Any help is greatfully recieved,
Cheers,

Phil

Sadly I don’t know of one, you are right don’t just blast away. but you could ask the company which you may buy from.

Hi,

I am not sure where you are based, but a company called Hugh Crane in Acle used to do such training (not sure if they still do).

Thanks for the kind offer Roger. To be honest I have never even seen anyone carry out this type of work before and I am a little lost as to where to start. I have seen the equipment on the tech-clean website. Do you know of these machines? Any advice about pressure washers?

What is your list to do when you roll up at a customers house? DO you need to pre-wash, degrease or prep in any way, shape or form?

What is the process of re-sanding blockwork, do you just use any kiln dried sand after it is all 100% dry.

Sorry, I just have so many questions to ask....!!!!

Regards, Phil
