Title: machine insurance

I am trying to get cover for theft for my machine added to my public liability insurance but the quote is approx £400 just to add the machine. Is this average or expensive? Any help or advice welcome thanks

you can, if you check...get it added on to your household insurance...I was offered that option by the halifax (home insurance)..hope that helps.

I have asked my broker and have been told that as it is a commercial machine and used for business I cannot do this, thanks any way

Contact the NFU they will insure equipment in your van plus lock up garage.
