Hi brett, I remember saying to you a while ago to go for a merlin as opposed to an ro-man setup, what size of r-man unit do you have?

Merlins are ok but my tds in is 350-400 and befor di with ro it comes out at 6-8, with merlin your looking between 10-15

I read on here that a guy uses 200 gal system with pump  he doesnt use resin as his reading out is no more than 2.

Good question i would have thought that they would have included it in the pack if it was needed

Could any one confirm ??

Just had a look on RO man site but no flow restrictor is listed with the upgrade kit, maybe it's not needed then, surely it would have been included otherwise ???

9 mins/ltr (160 ltr/day) to 4 mins/litre (360 ltr/day) all good for me :)

Any of you that upgraded checked the TDS from the new membrane?
I added new membrane to system along with new filters and done all the flushing etc, yet found my TDS before DI was now higher than previous, disconnected individual pipework to test, and get 12 TDS reading from new membrane and the same as usual 4 TDS from original one, any reason the new membrane is giving a higher reading, I'd have assumed they would give the same:-\
