Title: can shurflo pumps freeze & crack?

i leave my trolley in the van
if it gets -5c things start to crack
pipes im not worried about but the pumps?
and RO&DI tank?   hell, i could be set back quite seriously
anything i need to know about   please?

If you can't take it in, then wrap it up warm, lot of money for the sake of a blanket.

Anything brittle (even car-engine blocks) can crack under the pressure of expanding ice. Hoses are flexible so don't tend to.
