I'm confused. saw a man made silk rug on sale. Wet clean or not?

Probably viscose, cheaper to replace. A very slim chance it could be polyester, but I doubt it.
Bye bye and happy Christmas :)

Yes you can wet clean it. The same way you would clean it if it was silk. Best, Dave.

Wet clean silk???????????????

Yes wet clean silk. Wet cleaning a silk rug would always be the first choice if you want to clean it properly. If you mickey mouse it by using dry systems or foams or the like you will not get the same result. Best, Dave.

If you wet clean silk, you need to dry fast and brush the pile as it dries, horrible job to do and I would recommended don't do it.

Why would you turn away jobs that you can charge 50 to 75 pounds a square meter? Better than the 5 or 10 you get for cleaning carpets. Just a thought, best, Dave.
