Title: Black tank
Post by: 007 or what on December 15, 2006, 12:43:12 pm
Do any of you guys/gals have a black 1000ltr tank in van or garage, how do you tell how much water is in it? Is there some way that you have fitted a gauge to it?  :) HAPPY XMAS TO ALL :)

If you are worried about it overflowing when filling why not fit a Ball-cock like you have in the toilet sistern.
When the float reaches the level it stops the water.
You do lose a little bit of water space in the tank but not much.

Or if you mean to see water water you have during the day do what Easyclean suggested.

Something like this, just fix one end at the bottom and the other running vertical to the top on the outside  ;D,Gaz
