Hi all
How long are we all having off for christmas ?
are you going back quicker due to the bad weather we have had ,and lost earning ::)

will finish dec 23rd and go back 3 jan hip hip horray.....1st day back i have a block of 70 flats to do

working in between xmas and new year ... this year only.. as it is a new round and cant afford not to! ::)

Off on the 23rd December back on 8th January

Finish on saturday 23rd december dinnertime back to work on the 27th.

2-4 weeks had some real good months so money put aside, and baby no 3 coming mid jan so gonna make the most of it. Oh forgot, will still have to do my comercial stuff but that will only take up about 5 days ah bliss

I am actualy in front with my work and hope to have all of my December work done by christmas, will then have a week or maybe two off.

time off no way you are going to have to work on christmas day and boxing day i know how far behined you are with your work stu dont even try and justifive having a day off your customers need YOU by the way have your new brush give me a ring tomorrow afternoon have a cuppa and moan about customers sister in laws or girlfreinds etc etc

I'm away from 20th to 27th, the two lads are away 27th and we're back to usual working on 3rd.
The only stuff that gets done during this time is multiples per week, weekly and fortnightly work - all shops - which is still done on schedule. The rest of our customers have been trained to wait the extra two weeks.

Finish friday 22nd, back tues 2nd.
Just trying to have a few good days before xmas to have money to pay in on the week off!
People don't want bothering over christmas anyway.

I worked Jan 1 several years ago. I started by doing a few small, non-residential school buildings by which time I assumed that all the drunkards had woken up ;D . Then started on domestic until about 3. No-one minded (or at least they didn't say anything).
This year I was hoping to take the whole week off but realistically, I think I will need to work one or two days that week.

im strickly 4 weekly , so having mon and tue off will put me behind ( in theory ) i am slightly ahead and with the weather currently on my ( our ) side , i could get most of next weeks work done early !

I am working till about 1pm on Friday then going out for a few beers with some other self employed lads (electricians) and would like to clean again on the 27th but have a drink arranged for the 28th and am wondering if i will be fit for the 29th. Might just wait till 2nd January, am a mile behind like.
