Title: Streaks at the start
Post by: sheil on June 23, 2004, 03:04:40 pm: How do i stop those nasty streaks (left down the side of the window) when you first begin to swipe the glass. whats the best ways, and bets solutions ect?????

Post by: Tim Rose on January 16, 2008, 07:14:50 pm: Go back and rinse from top left (if you are right-handed) all the way to the bottom. Concentrate on getting cobwebby type stuff of the glass too.

I'm guessing you're washing the window with your T bar, then placing your squeegie to the top left of the window in this position '|' and then squeegying from left to right.

My advice is to wash the window, avoiding the sides and top by about half-an-inch; it takes a bit of practice; there's a bit of a knack to using a T bar washer.

Then, place the squeegy in this position '\' about an inch-or-two from the top left corner of the window, 'cut up' and squeegy.

In fact it's almost impossible trying to describe the movement; why don't you ask for someone to take you out for the day or two; and show you the ropes?
