How do i stop those nasty streaks (left down the side of the window) when you first begin to swipe the glass. whats the best ways, and bets solutions ect?????

Go back and rinse from top left (if you are right-handed) all the way to the bottom. Concentrate on getting cobwebby type stuff of the glass too.

I'm guessing you're washing the window with your T bar, then placing your squeegie to the top left of the window in this position '|' and then squeegying from left to right.
My advice is to wash the window, avoiding the sides and top by about half-an-inch; it takes a bit of practice; there's a bit of a knack to using a T bar washer.
Then, place the squeegy in this position '\' about an inch-or-two from the top left corner of the window, 'cut up' and squeegy.
In fact it's almost impossible trying to describe the movement; why don't you ask for someone to take you out for the day or two; and show you the ropes?
