This is one that came with my Gardners pole, does the job

searched ebay cannot find shop with that name?
-
just put the hose through the belt loop on your boab, then make a hoop in your pole hose (secure with zip ties) where the tap is and hang the loop off of your boab, works for me!
-
Varitech do these.
They are leather and clip arounb your belt. You put the flow on/off valve at the end of your hose in them. They work great.
Varitech are not on the net.
TEL: 015522 63333 ummm I think :(

It`s not the tap i`m after it`s the holder to keep it at your hip,it`s like a little leather tool holder,Gaz ;)

They're moving soon near to me and think they mentioned a website then once they have bigger premises.
I think they supply some of the sites on the Internet.
I bought a pole off the net only to find Varitech sell them to this site. Obvioulsy i paid more than if i got from Varitech >:(
I think they look on here at time but not post.

They do look on here as I suggested it to them! They also supply several ofther suppliers listed on these websites us lot buy from (not mentioning any). They are hoping with luck to move onto the industrial site in Heathfield, Newton Abbot very soon. I've suggested to them that they should do a website allowing us to internet shop which I think they may do in time when they have settled into their new premises. They know their business well and are very helpful!!!!!!!!!

cheers for the pic i might get one of them!!

sorry, i can't post a pic, but the tap isn't plastic like the one in the pic above. Its metal and serioulsy sturdy. There is a shop if you look hard enough pureflections ltd (ebay). But i believe their linked to varitech. I just did a search on ebay for hosereels and they were selling one with microbore and these fittings.

The tap i have isn't like the one in the picture, but a metal one. Get them at Varitech also.

MAKE YOUR OWN...PICE OF LEATHER A COUPLE OF RIVETS AND HOLES AND YOU HAVE A REPLICA
-
A cheap easy alternative is to buy a rock climbing style carabina clip from your local hardwear store (couple of quid) hang it on your belt loop.

Pics are on the first posting,Gaz ;)

I keep intending to make something similar myself.
I don't use microbore or the valve, I use tricoflex and the one way hoselock connector, so to cut the flow I just pop the connection...
And...um, I'm really pro....I tie my tricoflex around my waist and do it that way :-[
Yeah, I know, I look a right numpty :-\
I'll have to do something similar to Gaz and get a valve on the hose ;)

Ian the taps are so useful and the holder i made allows you to use any size hose having the spring togle on it,Gaz
-
I shall give it a whirl Gaz, got to replace the hoselock connector as it is battered and leaking now, so it'll be a good time to sort it out.
It does make life easier with the the hose clipped in some fashion to your waist.
