A thought, if you attach a hand tool to your solution hoses and hold the trigger open with tape this should allow any freezing water to escape.
Has anyone tried this? Am I missing something :-\

Yes it would work but dont forget about the wand and any other closed water supply. I carry on board 8 solution hoses so would need a lot of hand tools. Also dont forget the machine both truck mounts and porty's as they are closed circuits so to speak. For the hoses you can just put an open ended qd which will do the same as the hand tool idea and maybe be eaier. Best, Dave.

I don't understand what you mean Nigel. Are you saying drain the system in your machine by connecting a hand tool? if so I can't see this working as it's impossible to drain the system completely.

yes there will allways be water in your gear , any amount of water will expand if it frezze put a heater in i put a small elec greeen house heater in , never had a prob

Dave's idea may be better.
It was just a thought, to allow water to escape from hoses as they freeze

Gary's right in terms of little heaters working. But, and I know this has many posts, if you insulate the van you wouldnt have to worry about any thing freezing up. Best, Dave.

Thanks, The roof is open, so to speak. I will get some lagging in there. The sides are more problematic and the floor a no no.
Cheers
