i did two houses today in the high winds and the windows i did wfp dried awful spots and run's everywhere, i did the back's of the houses where the wind was less strong and they came up perfect.... just to add that the windows at the front of said two houses downstairs where i cleaned trad were just as bad with spots coming from the high wind driving rain onto them which must have been mingled with dust or something
i guess high wind + rain = bad finish in any style of window cleaning....be prepared for complaints if you work through this type of weather..... i have been going over a yr now with wfp and these houses are dead easy and always come up a treat with wfp, one window i cleaned twice with the same result and my tds was 000 and i have relatively new brush but like i said where the wind was less strong the results were good! :-\

I have found the need to double wash the windows as if you dont there is a lot of grit left behind on the glass. Its this wind and rain drving side ways on to the windows.
But did 2 today £5 and bottle of wine, so cant be to bad.
Alan is coming down this weekend to drop some kit off that I lent to him when his van got stolen.

roy do you go around the whole property then come back or was the whole window done twice over in one go?(if you know what i mean?) ;D

I do one window then the next and go back to the first, only in this bad weather though. But you can really see the difference.

will give that a try... but i expect in this horrible foul weather they will get some mark's as the ones i did trad downstairs were tiny dirt spots on them and i know it wasn't coming from upstairs as i left loads time for it to stop dripping as i wanted to see how the top's were going to turn out.....i guess the customer's rarely get their noses to the glass like we do though..i am my own worst critic ;D
