I am looking out of the patio door and its raining.

Saw the weather forcast this morning and I thought forget it.

Its great when you have a choice to work in foul weather or not, some dont. The bin men have been round this morning looking grumpy.

I take the long term view with the weather. Its what I earn over a year that counts not what the weather is doing in one week. You will have good weeks and bad weeks. This is my 49th week wfp this year and its been a cracker of a year. I only need to earn another £500 before the end of the year to hit the target I set myself. So I feel pretty Darn good despite the weather outside.

Make hay whilst the sun shines is my motto.

Best get back to the wife.

Nel.

I was poling away in that thunderstorm....well, it was only the one lightning bolt...hell of a bang though.
And yes Rog, on the shops, no way would I be doing domestics on a day like this :-[

Talk about egg on my face

the weather man said clear from 11am right through today.

Worked right through it gents, it doesn’t faze me in the slightest. Gale force winds, rain coming in sideways, thunder & lightning the lot also had to do quite a few balcony climbs I tied the ladder on every one of them.

Done that years ago force 7 gale 2nd floor no problem, now older and wiser.

Ended up having the full day off. I plumbed in the wifes new washing machine this afternoon so it looks like I will be flavour of the month tonight.

Weather forcast good for tommorw in these parts so I will crack on. First customer is £70 so I will be outside his window at 8am with my pole in hand.

When you have had a day off I get a real up and at um feeling for the following day.

I thought at one time the van was going to blow over. I was parked up having a coffe at the time.
I pressed on and completed my day.
What a blessing that WFP is, there's no way I could of worked off ladders today.
I think this last fortnight is the worst weather for the last 13 years, On the North Wales coast that is. Dai
