Title: Upvc yellowing frames

hi does anyone know what to do with upvc frames that are yellowing ? They are on a contract i have for flats up to 4th story being currently cleaned by wfp thanks callum

Don't think you can do anything.

It's something in the plastic that shouldn't have been, when they were made.

Ive used a restorer and primer for yellowing plastic frames. Think it was around 10 pound each a tin, try a search in google or something.

its because the PVCu wasnt good quality when made, in the old days they used 2nd or 3rd gen recycled PVCu, this fades in time to its oridinal colour ( which is yellow-ish )

i know my HNC in building studies would come in handy ;)

thanks for your advice i will probably leave the frames as they are as i can't get to the 3rd and 4th story so no point doing half a job. callum
