No,if the vw was the only model on the market I would use a bike ;D

Sounds good,
Another idea i found worth trying is getting some fabric labels made up to stick on underside of rugs & upholstery
Anyone know were i can get some made?
-
Sounds good Steve ;)

I saw them on a rug i had to quote for a customer the other day, it had last cleaned by "xxxxx cleaning" on "date" and there telephone number.
Bloody good idea i think.
And before anyone says, if it was that good a idea why didnt they call them back, its because they wasnt happy with there work.
And it did work for 5 years untill the company stuffed up.

Don't forget to tell them a rug needs vacuuming both sides. ;)

Steve where do you get your bottles from???
i would like to know the answer to this also
-
i like to know too?? and solution??
i been using cleansmart for promo spotters, works at £2.00 per bottle, inc delivery all in!
im not convinced that can be beaten by buying it all seperate :-\

What are we? Professional carpet cleaners or £5 an hour bottle fillers?!! :o
surely there must be more useful things you could be doing than spending your time filling up bottles of spotter? Woudn't it make more sense to do some marketing instead?
And what about health and safety, COSH, labelling regs, public liabilty insurance and whatever other stuff you have to do when you become a manufacturer?

I think you have missed the point.
-
Sorry Mike but you are missing my point. Using spotters to promote your services is marketing. Filling spotters up is factory work. Why not just pay someone else to do it?
-
That's a fair point.

Contact Ben or John Kelly for bottles & triggers

Could supplying spotters to your customers reduce the frequency of cleaning?

I looked down the road of buying all the parts seperately and producing my own spotter to sell on, had enough of paying £3 odd myself then expecting the customer to pay twice that which I thought was a rip off. I found that bottle and trigger were about 75p then product to fill then labels then all the H & S possibility. Fortunately a family member has a larger cleaning business / supplies etc and we managed to get a big chem.co to produce a 750ml trigger spray microsplitter spotter that I can sell to my customers for £3 and make very good profit. They are more of a marketing tool than anything else.

i give mine to customers free, they cost me £2.00 each thats all in labels delivery etc. that is if customers spending hundred pound or more, below that i sell them £4.99 lol
it is nice to offer the customer an alternitive to those naff things that bleach carpets >:(
