Very good ;)

I'm a firm believer that if you have any common sense & are able to adapt then you will pick up all that you need to know as you go along. Or you could pay someone to sit in a classroom for a day to be bored silly.

and fall asleep :o

Not the case Paul, Have you been?
Going by the 60% of wfp users who havent a clue what there doing I suggest anyone with doubts to get yourselfs down to the B.W.C.A beofre you learn bad habbits and risk your health
Or simply stop lifting your brushes and do the job properly before they start banning long poles because of health risks and un-trained people causing seroius accidents!

No I haven't been on a WFP course , but I have been sent on plenty of other courses by companies that I worked for in the past. Can say without exception every single one was a complete & utter waste of time.
What serious accidents am I going to cause then.
-
To yourself mate, thats if your one of the 60%
All im saying is (not in a narky way) dont make comments about suff you dont know.

I agree with you propole that it teaches you safe working practices, good techniques and tips, but when i went on the course I thought there was far too much "scientific" theory which you really didnt need to know which took up most of the day and the practical sessions were very short. and most of the people on the course with me that day were saying the same thing also. Another plus is that you get a nice certificate to show customers that you are qualified so you do look more professional.
-
Just looked on their website & half of it is theory on purified water & how WFP works! I think anyone with half a brain will pick that up straight away.
How to avoid spotting, just rinse really well and do your 1st cleans thoroughly.
Thanks but no thanks, I'll keep my £95 plus vat

When's the last time one of your customers have asked to see your certification, cos mine never have, they just want to know that you can clean their windows to a good standard & that you will be regular.

When i go for commercial work and big residential work I show my company brochure which has pics of other jobs I do, insurance certificate, risk assesment, health and safety stuff and my certificate in WFP, which shows i have been trained. :D

My post of objection about the subject was based mainly towards the correct working technique of wfp. If you go back and read properly, you will see.
To be assured that I am doing all I can to work in a safe manor and anyone who works on my behalf is £95 is small change.
I want my back to hold out for many many years to come £95 is a very small price to pay. I also want to cover my back with noy much sense you should know what Im talking about!

Paul,
If I saw you working comm or high managed work, and you was doing it dangerously I could go see the manager with my BWCA cert's and scream blue murder...... jobs mine, thanks very much ;D
Note, I would never use such tactics, but I could!!!!!!!

No I don't know what you are talking about, do they not teach you how to spell on that course either ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Paul,
I seriously couldn’t give a monkey's about spelling on a forum, and if you did have any sense you would know not to correct or point out anyone's mistakes. That is a stupid mistake I now eagerly await your future posts my friend.
I don’t want to sit here proof reading everything I type or get my secretary to either Im a busy man, my time is very important. what I write on this forum is typed extremely fast and like I say Icouldnt care how it comes out or reads. I don’t get the dictionary out to impress smart private school boys like you!!!!!!!

I don't normally pick people up on their spelling, but when I can't understand the point that is being made, then surely that's a waste of time!!!!!!!!!!!!
