Title: MPG
Post by: AquaMagic on December 05, 2006, 11:16:45 pm
Hello, could anyone tell me how to work out the MPG gallon my car does. Every time i fill up and reset the clock my missus comes home and tells me she has filled up the car for me this messing up any calulations i make.  I use the car for surveys so need to invoice the company for the milage, i know i can bill upto 40p per mile upto 8000 mile for tax purposes but wanted to work out what it really costs, does anyone know of a website that lists the milage.  If it helps ive got a 1.6 Laguna?

The 8000 mile limit has now been abolished, you can for tax purposes now charge all mileage at 40p/mile.

If it helps, theres a little book you can get from "w h smiths" of simular, i cant think what its called ,its a used car price guide
anyway it has all the prices of used cars, and also lists all the different specs and the mpg.

I think it might be called parkers, its about £4.
