Hi
Call me a scenic but, does that child work for rug bagger.
Are you saying that running a sebo over a carpet is the same as turning it upside down and beating it.
I do hope not.

David, its a rugbadger ad. What they are saying is if you just hwe a rug, dry it, turn it over and run a vacuum cleaner with a beater bar over it, you will have a pile of dirt.
Of course you will. Doesn't mean to say the rug isn't visually clean and satisfying to the customer.
Same as cleaning a carpet, do you think you can get all the dirt out, I doubt it. You are carrying out a cleaning operation which will only remove a percentage of the dirt but will present a visual improvement.

Hi
That was my point John.

Hi, i use powerbrushes with my machines and do think they "beat" more dirt out than just a wand alone although even these are not perfect in the grand scheme of things! But as well as agitating pre-spray they revive the spring to the carpet.

Hi
The point is that however much soil your removing, theres always a lot left.

You will never get rid of all soiling-period. There is more dirt than you think between carpet and underlay! :o Also filtration soiling literally "drags" dirt up through floorboards etc-how many carpets have you seen with black board lines!? The cheaper end you tend to walk away from!! However i know that i will not stop using powerbrushes as they really do make a difference.

When I worked at Franklins we used to use a vibro beating machine that we fed carpets through and the difference was amazing, some carpets would come out looking like they had just been cleaned and also the really heavier ones would come out a lot lighter in weight.
Then we just scrubbed the life out of them and sent them back to the customer 6" shorter than when they came !
Only kidding

The rug badger knocks an incredible amount of dirt out of a rug, a vacuum cleaner doesn't come close. It really is amazing , however they cost a lot of money and unless you get a LOT of rug cleaning business at good prices forget it.
