Hi all,
I want to get some commercial work but I'm unsure how to go about It ???
There are loads of buildings around me that would be nice to clean but I don't know who owns them or who to contact.
I'm a shy guy and don't like the face to face approach, so Is there any kind of letter that I could pop through the door offering me to quote for the job??
If there Is who would you address the letter to as It's usually the receptionist you see!

Telephone the company first -ask to speak to whoever is in charge of maintainance - offer to quote for the building and take it from there.

Telephone the companys and ask who is the facilities manager.Once you have the name send them your letter saying what service you can provide for them.Dont put the price in you have to get them interested first. Once you have done this call them back after a week and ask if they received and if so woud they be interested in your service. Alot of companys will have someone allready and all the real big companys will use one company for all thier sites. if in doubt go around your local area and look to see which buildings are dirty then you can asume they dont have a window cleaner. Also you will need insurance,risk assesments,method statements etc etc

How on earth do you provide one? Is there a template risk assesment kicking about that I could use and just alter a few details?
You mention insurance! Will my public liability insurance cover me?
