All that money you have lost, :o.
Are you trad or wfp 007?

Peter Storm waterproofs! Make sure they are breathable lined though, trousers were 30 quid, jacket i think was about the same! You can get them from Millets.

Don't work in the rain....you get wet and miserable....catch a cold and end up at home quaffing Lemsip Cold and Flu by the gallon for a few days.
Be thankful for the odd unexpected day off....take the Mrs out for lunch (yeah right) or watch some crappy old film that you taped yonks ago but never got around to watching.
The work doesn't go away....play catch up later.

Ì work in the rain...as I need the money...
Given the choice I would not but where needs must ;D

Gortex jackets with removable fleece lining, we pay £30 a jacket.
Always work in the rain unless it's thundering it down, can't pay bills if ya don't work?
-
I wear also gortex stuff in the wet. I think I paid £40 for jacket and trousers both with removable liners.
Do a search for companies that supply clothing for the construction industry. Also Northern Tools do some good priced gear.
Cheers

trevor that is a good price for gortex jacket, may i ask where you get them from
Local company to me called Utopia, I think they will post if your interested, they also do embroidery and screen printing.
