As well as cc'ing I do classic car restorations and mail order parts, there are 2 ways of looking at it,

a. Sometimes its beter not to have all your eggs in 1 basket.

b. Spreading yourself in 3 directions at once can be hard work, if you concentrated on just one area you could give it your undivided attention.

Either way it keeps me busy, Andy

My other job is cleaning upholstery ;)

Hell, I haven't even got time to ride my bike as much as I'd like, so another job would be out of the question :'(

Safe and happy cleaning :)

Although I've been pretty successful in doing more than one thing at a time, I'd recommend that you concentrate all of your energy and focus in one business, to get the most out of it.

I'ts my nature, to be constantly aware of everthing around me, I love the hassle, and pressure of start ups and get bored, when things run smoothly, so my life has been, very much, about new ventures and helping others get up and running

This is not, however , the way to go for 99% of people, who need to be focussed on one business and devote all of their energies in one direction

Something I've learned since starting CC is the acid test is response to my marketing, not how it looks like it should get response.

Carpet cleaning is only one aspect of our cleaning business, cleaning offices, domestic properties, computers, windows, patios - the list is endless.

Why have all of your eggs in one basket, a large percentage of our customers are rural, and love the fact that they can come to one company who can cater all.

I cannot keep up with the demand for window cleaning, and turn customers away on a regular basis, unless it is a quick earner.

Regards
Paul

Reference your oven cleaning have you got details of a supplier for chemicals .tanks etc
Mostsly you find that oven cleaning is franchise based, but as an add on  it sounds pretty good.

Dave-mac.

To be honest there is no magic formula or system.

Let me ask you this. Why does it take a franchis operator e.g Oven clean 2 hours to clean what is essentially a metal square with all their potions and tanks.

Because its a load of old ball s**t. If there was it wouldnt take so long.

You can set yourself up for about £40 and do just as good a job. Its all elbow grease.

I do a lot now, all off the shelf products and a tank of sorts that cost £20 from a high st retailer, and my customers are always happy. I even did my own recently (wife is a lazy cow), and she couldnt believe it. Oh and by the way i do it just as quickly as those legendary franchise boys (mugs).

If you want to know more just give me your email add.
