Watch out terry !!
-
That is just scary how fast that is..... :o
-
I hope he is not being paid by the hour
-
that is not fast at all ;D he spends more time in one area look again!
why did he not go across the whole window, instead of standing in one area,it looks ok,in fact I would make him look stupid thats not being big headed, its fact ;D sorry I am the daddy ;D
-
I've got to agree with Terry, he's not fast - I would destroy him in a head to head - and no I'm not being a bighead either, when you learn to double hand correctly, and practice, anyone can be quick - I will say the bit where the guy does the pane with the 2 inch squeegee is quite cool!
Seriously though, he's not fast.
-
It is nifty, and we've had this clip posted before, and thanks to it I use the technique of washing one pane and squeegeeing the one next to it.
Not on many accounts to be sure, but I've a couple where it works well on.
And that squeegeeing off a pane of glass with a tiny squeegee looks good, but a pound get you ten that there will be lines and mistakes on that pane!

i still think he is quite fast and he does go across the whole window, doesnt he??
-
Jeans Removal 101 was much more interesting :)
-
He would be quicker with WFP ;)
The video of the first guy is actually sped up, you can tell because when a car enters into the picture they slow the video down again so that the car passes at normal speed.

I was well impressed with the speed...but why anybody needs to be soooo fast is beyond me! I agree with Ian Giles, at that speed there'll be mistakes and the detailing is all.
Also if I did Mrs Jones place in 10 minutes flat (normal time 35/40 mins) she'd be reluctant to pay me the usual Ģ20....and I wouldn't blame her.
-
interesting video, but i agree its a bit OTT, you guys who do two handed window cleaning do you use the same technique ie following the mop with the squeegee?

No - I follow the squeegee with the mop! ;)

Andy
I can't do it like that , i'm not co-ordinated enough yet i've two left feet and hands!
-
I now know how to get faster. I need a qicker musical backing track. I've been using Perry Como.
-
;D try flight of the bumble bee ;D
-
its speeded up too ..look in the background ::)
-
when working 2 handed I follow the applicator with the squeegee as in the vid but the big difference is if you look closely he goes over the same parts of the glass 2 or 3 times, I'm sure terry will be able to tell you that isn't going to make you any quicker, I'm ambidextrous so I suppose I have an unfair advantage.
-
i think you must all be watching a different vid to me,
the guy walking past seems to be walking at a normal pace, and the cars dont seem speeded up,maybe its just me old eyes
-
;D you need to use all the blade and not waste any blade over lap that way you cover most at any one time ;D it does take years of practice ;D
-
those vids are not speeded up, it is possible and i can say for a fact, i watched these vids before and terry's too and aint far off being able to do the techniques shown. i can tell you could do it all with practice without leaving any marks/smears...it wouldnt take too long to learn! try it yourself i promise!!
-
Think i will stick to wfp.
Was never much good with a blade but would still like to learn the different techniques.
Good to watch though ;D

Thatīs just silly, He hasīnt even touched the frames and there is no way that you can get rid of fly marks etc. with just one swipe no matter what solution you are using :)
-
Had six months of trad now so i think i will try the 2 handed on my own windows.
Maybe when mastered that i will try 2 wf poles....Lol.
Gazza hows the work coming along
