Did that with my mobile phone once, 60mph and heared a bang from the roof, looked in the mirror and saw my mobile bouncing along the road, I went back for it and stood there watching car after car drive over it, not one of them hit the phone, picked it up and it still worked, I wasn't worried about the phone Just the contact numbers, I now have them all on computer as well.

Did that with my wallet once. The council hedge cutters found it and returned it to me all money intact.
Decent people

I once posted my 'work list' detailing prices and who I'd cleaned and who paid through a customers letter box, instead of the 'Your Window Cleaner Has Been' chit.

There was about three-hundred quids worth of work on that one sheet (although I never earn that much in a day :-\), but what was ticked off was a good sum; one I wouldn't want a customer to know about, in case they thought I was overcharging them.

I came home the other week to make a coffee and grab a sandwich and thought i would just top up the water before i went back out.
After i made my coffee etc i got back in the van and pulled away forgetting to turn the water off and remove the hose.

I got a bit wet ;D

Took a full margarine tub to work one morning instead of my lunch box.  How silly I felt, and hungry.
