Hi guys, yes it's more power packs,
I need a power pack/converter that can take an ordinary household plug off a pressure washer (1400 watts) to connect to a car's 12 volt supply!!
Please assist me on this one i've search the whole of google and i can't find anything. Ps Maplin Say they don't have one either!
Where did you get yours from lads, how much was it, has any one converted their own to suit their needs?
Please, some links pictures, keywords i'd be grateful!
And pretty soon to i need to get one ordered ASAP cause we need the pressure washer to work on our new business venture!! ;) ;)

I did not realise you wanted it for such power consumption,
You would be very lucky to get a power pack of that size, and if you did, the battery won't last five minutes.
My only suggestion to you would be buy your self a generator and a diesel one is more reliable.

B@Q have two in stock, one at £99, and the miniture one at just £49, they both run for two hours continues on two part petrol and oil,

if your just starting off why not consider hiring one,that way you can get a much more powerful machine which will do the job much quicker until your sure your going to use it alot .ps if you do buy, dont buy cheap

If it's there own B&Q branded one (Performance or Power Performance) they're not that reliable.

remember to get one bigger than the 1400 watts you need, electrict motors have a bigger start up load. Go and rent one first and try it out, I would go for a 2000watt to star with and see how it performs.

Like Steve said you must always get bigger than you need, if you get a 1400w one, you will eventually burn it out running at its maximum,does them no good at all. 2000w minimum.

I bought my generator of ebay, fully reconditioned with 12month warranty for £99 but soon gave up using an electric washer and went for a more powerful petrol one which cost just under 200 quid from b & Q
